After numerous checks throughout the night, Smoothie decided to foal safely when the coast was clear and on a 3.20 am check on Tuesday morning, Storm was welcomed in to the world.  He has been a character from the outset and is so confident, strong and bold.  He is perfect in every way way and an absolute delight to have around.

Courellis Dorothea - Retained
Courellis Dorothea

Dam: Threapwood Elsa

Sire: Threapwood Vulcan

Standard Black Filly born 29/04/2018

Dot was named after a very special friend of mine and was born at 12.21am on 29th April. Elsa was one week over due so foal was big and itching for freedom. Poor Elsa was exhausted & a little assistance was required easing foals hind legs out but Mum was absolutely fantastic throughout.

Dot is a very strong, very big filly who is full of attitude. Poor Elsa has her hooves full with this little one who cant help but bronch and gallop around the field for most of the day.  She is very special.

Courellis Dreamy & Delicious - Sold
Courellis Dreamy and Delicious 'Dreamy'

Dam: Grutness Oreo

Sire: Ramper Elderberry

Standard Black Filly Born 29/04/2017

Dreamy was our one and only foal born in 2017, therefore was provided with undivided love & attention. Dreamy was super friendly and overly confident from the second that she was born and is such a pretty filly.

Dreamy was sold in December to be a best friend to 2 little sisters where her undivided love and attention continues. She was destined to be a child's pony from day dot.

Courellis Drambuie - Sold
Courellis Drambuie 'Boo'

Dam: Pinglewood Sherry Baby

Sire: Corleyoak Bobby Dazzler

Miniature Buckskin Colt Born 17/04/2016

Boo was only hours old when he greeted me at Sherry's side on the morning of June 17th 2016.  His little gangley legs trying to keep up with Mum's pace & Mum tentatively holding back for her first born.  I knew as soon as I seen those grey eyes that he was what we ordered, a buckskin.

Like other Courellis foals, Boo was ever so confident & always up to no good instantaneously, pushing over wheel barrows, jumping on Mum & half Sister Doris & just loved being the centre of attention.

Boo has already proved himself as a foal taking 1st at the Red Rose Show & 2nd at Warrington County Show.  He was sold to a lovely home in Scotland to run on as a future stallion.

Courellis Dishy Doris - Sold
Courellis Dishy Doris 'Doris'

Dam: Oldaport Gladys

Sire: Corleyoak Bobby Dazzler

Miniature Smokey Black Tobiano Filly 21/04/2016

Doris was born on the 20th June at 2.15 am.  I had just arrived back at the yard on a very cold night after returning back to foal watch & I could not have timed it any better.  Within 2 minutes, Gladys' waters had broken & along came 2 teeny little hooves followed by an unusual silver coloured head.

Doris has a high head carriage and she really can move!  It was a proud moment when she took 3rd place behind her brother Boo at Warrington County Show in 2016 & took 2nd place at Shropshire County Show in 2017.

This little poppet now lives in East Sussex where she is loved to pieces.  The last photo I received from new owner Julie was of Doris trying to steal her pint in their local pub where Doris is somewhat of a star

Courellis Danifandango - Sold
29-5-18-5507.jpg

Dam: Gathanparc Apirka

Sire: Halvilla Duke

Miniature Chestnut Filly 21/06/2015

Ice decided to deliver Dani on the one & only day I was hoping she would not.  There was no sign of little feet at 8.05am before enjoying a glorious morning showing at Warrington County Show. The show is a stones throw from us & me & the ponies had a very successful day but I had a feeling i needed to get home.......as soon as I pulled up with the trailer at 12.20pm, my eyes did not deceive me.  There she was a perfect but petite little girl, still trying to gain her balance & nearly completely dry in the scorching sun but what gave it away that she had not long been born were the few patches of wet & blood just drying off in phenomenal heat.

Dani was Ice's first foal & Ice had bagged up so much that her teats had completely disappeared in to her udder.  A vet was called after I tried all I could & the vet was there within what felt like minutes, I knew I had to get some colostrum in to this precious girl & not knowing exactly when she was born & battling in the heat wave, time was against us.  Very slowly but surely, Ice's milk was expressed in to a bottle & Dani ever so willingly took the milk, a huge sigh of relief was heard all around.  Ice was frantically spinning around every time I tried to show Dani where the milk bar was, knocking me over & was so anxious when she see lost sight of Dani.  I continued to bottle feed Dani for the rest of the afternoon & evening.  At 11pm that same night, Ice settled & allowed her baby to feed.

Despite a hair raising start to life, Dani grew to be a strong, stocky filly with a temperament to match.  She is as beautiful as her Dam & is now causing mischief in the IOM with her best friend Jack & her wonderful new owner Linda who is a credit to 'our babies'.
